Since the introduction of the smart phone the price has seem to soared. With ever increasing technology, the smart phone industry has failed to reach a point of offering a good smart phone on a budget. With companies such as Apple and Microsoft/Nokia dominating the field, it proves hard for any independent brands to make a mark on any market. However, we have seemed to reach a turning point in which thanks to Android technology we no longer to have to subscribe to the main brands on the smart phone market. Making room on the market for budget This new competition forces companies to lower their prices and to fade into obscurity. Here’s a quick list of quality budget Android phones on the market today:
Xolo Q600s – 6000 – 8000 IRS
The Xolo comes with standard 1GB of RAM, 4GB memory and a Quad-Core processor, offering a dynamic display and vivid colors. The battery life can last up to 24 hours of talk time, depending on other usage, or almost 500 hours on standby. This phone offers a great working Android system at a very nice price.
The only let down to the Xolo Q600s would be the memory and the camera. Both not being as big as they should be. An 8GB memory should be standard in phones these days, and a 5MP camera is shoddy to say the least. However for only 8000 IRS it could be a lot worse.
Lava Iris X1 – 7000 – 8000 IRS
The Lava Iris X1 also comes with a 4GB memory, Quad-Core processor and 1GB of RAM, supporting an auto-focus 8MP back camera with a LED flash and a 2MP front camera. The battery can last up to 10 hours of talk time while standby time can be variable. The Lava Iris X1 offers a smart Android system combined with a competent camera.
The downside to the budget Android phone would be the screen resolution, which can be temperamental at the best of times. Also the manufacturing quality leaves plenty of room for improvement.
Motorola Moto E – 7,000 – 8000 IRS
Motorola Moto E is perhaps one of the best budget Android phones on the market to date. Like the pervious it uses 1Gb RAM and a 4GB memory, however the Moto E boast Dual-Core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 A7 technology, making its reaction time smooth and flowing. The Moto E, unlike almost every other phone is totally water proof, representing the perfect phone build.
In all this phones positives though it does have a couple negatives, its 5MP rear camera with digital zoom and autofocus yet lacking a flash, this camera is lower in quality as you would expect from Motorola. Also the 4GB memory as per general market should be industry standard 8GB.
