If you could go out and find a restaurant where there was food made fresh when you ordered it, enough varieties of beer that you might never have time to sample them all and it was all in a historically important building, wouldn’t it be the sort of place you would be dying to try?  You can find that and more in a restaurant located right in Savannah, GA.  Two stories of beautiful red brick with a bit of an industrial flair made contemporary.  There are numerous televisions scattered about and the latest in sports packages to watch. There is no better place for a beer, burger, and game!

The Beers and the Club
There are 40 taps and over 100 types of bottled beer.  There is even a Beer Club and it is budget friendly.  You can join for $20 and that gets you a shirt that you can wear to proudly proclaim your membership.  That is a club who probably does not lack for members.  They hold monthly craft beer tasting for the members and drawings for merchandise, along with other benefits.

The Amazing Menu
It may be a sports bar but there is a full menu with fresh chopped salads that you can create yourself.  There are appetizers like Mac & Cheese, Egg Rolls, and Pretzel Bites among others and flatbreads including Pesto Shrimp.  Of course there are a variety of sandwiches and burgers, but the best things of all is the made from scratch entrees like Sweet Tea Fried Chicken and Pepper Jack Pasta.  If you still have room, there are even desserts that feed the eyes as well as your stomach.

Where is this Place?
That is the question all your friends will be asking you when you tell them about your experience.  It is the Savannah Taphouse, located in the old Avon Theater. They have already been talked about as one of the finest restaurants in the city and they only opened in late 2015, so that is quite an accomplishment.
